GRP Fibreglass Roofing

GPR Fibreglass Roofing – A Detailed Explanation

GRP stands for Glass Reinforced Plastic, which is more commonly known as Fibreglass. GRP Fibreglass Roofing is becoming a very popular form of roofing as it is a highly waterproof, resilient, strong and a long-lasting material. It makes an excellent roofing material, ideal for balconies, extensions, orangeries, garages, and flat roofs. GRP is used to build yachts, boats, canoes and bathtubs so is 100% waterproof.

The roofing comes in thousands of different shades. The desired colour is mixed into the top coat so will never peel off like paint would. We can also add a non slip top coat for areas which may get foot fall such as a balcony or garage roof.

GRP Fibreglass Roofing comes with a 25 year guarantee, but the roof itself will last much longer. There is little to no maintenance once the roof is laid. If you have a bright colour or a pale colour it may  need cleaning occasionally but otherwise you can forget about it.
